it was our 7th month yesterday. time flies. i felt like i just met him last week. the day before, he spent a few hours just to search for the biggest frog i've ever seen. it occupy half of my bed. i wanted to meet him for dinner but he refused. he said he need to look for 'that thing' first. anyway, i was pretty surprise when i saw it. really huge. n i like it :)
and yesterday, we went to Gyu-Kaku at UE square for dinner. we wanted to go to holland v for the japanese bbq actually but because we passed by that place before when we went to Azhang(another fabulous restaurant) and he said it was tempting, so we decided to try out the food there. glad we made the right choice. it was fantastic. the food esp the karubi with miso and lamb with shio(famous in japan) nnnnnn the grilled whole squid were excellent. they served high quality meat and very very well marinated. i highly recommend the restaurant. guess it was lucky for us to be served by this lady, not sure what's her name. but anyway she provided excellent service. she doesnt sound local. and most of the customers there were japanese. oh and to end that satisfying meal, we ordered the dessert, rice cake with green tea ice cream and red bean. guess what? we were told by her that we had to bbq the rice cake! cool. i rmber the last time i had it was at the jap restaurant, MOF, at ms. kee meng ordered that and the real thing was like 3X bigger than the one in the pic. And this rice cake we had yesterday, it was really small and thinly sliced when it came. but when i put it on the grill, it started to expand and balloon up. so cute! and it gets bigger and bigger. it looked as if it was going to burst. the dessert was not bad and the whole experience was fun. thumbs up! we would definitely visit the place again :)))
then we head to cine for movie. ps. i love you. i heard praises from kx and shan for that movie so we decided to watch it. it was a touching and sad show, reflecting upon lives of couples. sometimes they just argue for the sake of arguing. forgetting the reason why they were even tgt and only to regret what they've done after they've lost each other. and usually when one party gets angry, he/she just wants the other person to feel bad about it. well, we should really learn to cherish the pple we love. there might not be a tomorrow. hmmm, it's really a must-watch.
