i always take notice of how people around me dress. i should just mention some of the worst ones i've seen.
i was taking the train as usual, going to work. there was this lady who caught my attention. she's a petite size, young-looking lady (probably turning 30 in a couple of yrs) with long hair, let down. and wearing a white shirt, black skirt with length over her knees, and wearing the worst pair of footwear she can ever match with the rest of her clothes -- m)phosis flip flops. what the ... i rather she go bare footed. her over-the-knees black skirt really looked over-size on her and her long hair looked messy. it is bad.
next, i was walking towards shaw again, on my way to work. the lady walking in front of me was wearing turqoise pumps, and i forgot what colour shirt and skirt, and a navy-coloured beaded necklace. anyway it was just mis-matches everywhere.
Alright, enough of the bad ones. time fore a not-bad one now.
yesterday, i was taking LRT home and i saw a lady who matched her attire from top to toe. she was wearing a cream coloured short sleeve knitted sweater with small lil cute prints over a violet colour tank top and a green skirt. she paired them with a cream coloured pumps with light purple trimmings and mint green ribbon. she's SO purple-cream-green. i bet she bought the skirt and tank to match her shoes. i think it would be a perfect attire for high tea (think classic english) with girlfriends if she puts on a pearl necklace. she definitely looked feminine.
my favourite past-time when i was working at the roadshow at isetan is definitely none other than observing people. one of the things i take particular notice would be the watches that my customers wear. I met at least 4 or 5 who wore Chanel watches. personally, i don't think the design of that watch is "that" nice but i think people who buy those, bought it because of the brand. So be it nice or not, doesn't quite matter. it just shows that they've got the money. of cos, i saw a few with really nice watches. i met a few who wore frank muller, longines and other high end ones. and i remember there was one lady, she was wearing a couple of cartier bangles and rings. so rich. hmmm. i would love to own a cartier ring too. haha.
Another thing i notice about them is their hairstyle. some of them have very nice bob or concave hairstyle and some have very pretty curls, long or short. talking about hair, i was awaken by a sms this morning by monsoon. they're having a promo for card members. 50% off all hair services if you top up the value in your card. FUK. i should've waited for 2 more weeks before i get my haircut and stuff done. i could have saved a hell lot. DAMN IT.
this is quite the first time after so long i feel that i'm being silly. it's like jumping into the quicksand again after all the hassle i went through to get rid of it. now we've got a date. ARGH. hopefully someone would ask me out to watch it before my BKK trip. otherwise, i will really watch with him when i come back from bkk. Ahhhhhhh.
i like guys with good dress sense. :)
