i applied for NTU and NUS and i'm now awaiting for their reply. I don't think my chances of getting in is high cos i'm not in the distinction list. sadded. i should've worked hard in year one. anyways, i've been thinking of what i should do if i don't get accepted.
hmmm, my first plan - look for a science-related job for a year then study in other unis (hopefully i'll be able to get sponsorer or scholarships)
second plan - look for a job in a bank and attend courses on banking and finance and probably study in ACCA. (well, then that would mean changing my route totally)
third plan - work for a period of time and meanwhile, set up various online business that doesn't require much capital.
hmmm, really dont know what to do. i really hope to get accepted into nus or ntu.
i'm currently having an internship at tll, in karuna's lab. it's a stressful life there. and i don't wanna work there after my internship is over. it is pretty scary to work with her. she gives out an intimidating aura and i always feel stressed simply by her presence. omg... i'm suffocating. shitty life. and what is worse? feeling so stressed up every weekday and getting an allowance of 450 per month? i can't believe it. you don't think that i accepted this internship willingly. it seems more like i'm forced to. and that is because, even before i could reject this offer, my supervisor emailed me and ask me to call her. and knowing that she will assume and talk to me like i have accepted this offer, i didnt want to call her but i have to. now, my friends are organising a thailand trip but it'll be during mid may. but my internship will only end on the 30th may. omg... tell me what to do. 'tell her that you are going for a post grad trip lah!' everybody say that. but i dont dare to. omg. can you picture her in your mind now? she's just this scary!
i've been kinda reading this book 'self made millionaire' by adam khoo. and it kinda inspire me to be a millionaire. and i've sorta been using this question 'would you still be doing what you are doing now if you are unpaid?' to sorta guide me to choose which path to go. i believe that we'll succeed and find meaning in things which we like to do. therefore, i've made up my mind not to go back to karuna's lab to work because if she doesn't pay me, i will not continue working there. hmm, it's quite a useful qn for me. haha. my ultimate goal is to find a money making business that will involve my passion for art. well, then i would really still be doing it even if i'm unpaid. this book is pretty inspiring and gives me more idea on what i can do to be a successful entrepreneur. i'm currently looking for another book 'rich dad, poor dad'. this book could even be better than the one i'm reading now. well, i really need to plan my future as soon as the unis reply me.
i still hope i get accepted afterall.
